#POSTERPIT

#PosterPit is a pitch event that takes place on Twitter and BlueSky in April and August, created to connect query-ready manuscripts (or on-submission manuscripts) with agents and editors in the publishing industry. It also includes writers with WIPs at any stage of the process. Created by Mylee J. Miller in a promotional post for her novel, it has expanded into a five-host, cross-platform event!

MYLEE J. MILLER

Mylee J. Miller is a writer of fantasy, mystery, and fairytale stories of many varieties. She was shortlisted for the WriteHive Mentorship Program in 2025, has won editorial consultations based on her writing, and is actively pursuing her BA in English in the hopes of becoming a professional editor someday. She's currently querying a novel entitled BENEATH THE WAVES OF THE LABYRINTH SEA. When not writing, she can be found amid stacks of books, splatters of paint, or trying to become a not-so-gourmet chef.

SHAINA CORDAS

Shaina was a mentee in the 2021/2022 class of Pitch Wars, won the 2020 Story Pony Flash Fiction Contest, and has been published in the magazine Rejection Letters. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and English, which she’s used in roles of grant writing and fundraising for nonprofits. She is passionate about animal welfare and warm cups of coffee.

ABIGAIL WADLINGTON

Abigail is a part-time dog daycare worker and a full-time daydreamer. Before earning her Bachelor’s in Creative Writing, she mentored under bestselling author Ridley Pearson and wrote a myriad of books that make her cringe now. When not writing, she can be found painting book edges, filming dog TikToks, or playing cozy Switch games.

CHRIS

Chris enjoys writing epic fantasy and being able to lose himself in a world of his own creation. He's currently working on his debut novel, which is a Percy Jackson X Avatar The Last Airbender epic fantasy with unique magical races and characters. The prologue of it is going to be published later this year in an anthology for Autistic writers. When not doing that, Chris is an avid skateboarder and videographer for bands local to his place of residence.

RACHEL BLAINE

Rachel studied writing at Florida State University and earned an MFA degree in Writing for the Stage and Screen from FSU’s College of Motion Picture Arts. She is currently querying a YA Dystopian novel and has a blog where she writes letters to her mother who passed away titled Sober Letters to Mom. Rachel currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two young kids. When she isn’t writing, she spends her time as a Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor.
